Just installed new FW on my Lumia 950XL DS (CV Russia) via WDRT. New version is 01078.00053.16236.35009.

UPD: Looks like motion data and some other Lumia extras are missing because of a bug in hard reset process. Will try going through WDRT from scratch again later.

In my experience, FW updates are often shown in WDRT earlier than over the air. I just bought a new 950XL to replace the one I`ve lost, and checked WDRT even before going through OOBE. Availability depends on country\region, and of course it goes faster for non career-approval-needed SKUs

Windows central app is pretty much broken on my 950xl, it's not letting me reply to anything...anyway, my 950xl is unlocked...so I guess I'll attempt the WDRT when I get home.

Interesting, I'm on 01078.00038.16025.36005. I thought that this rev (16082) was simply the "cumulative rollup", without added functionality.

I'm with mlekas, where are people enabling this, what setting or other?

Your firmware version does look like a higher version than what's available for the US dual SIM variant. Also Lumia motion data would be missing since Microsoft has deprecated Sensor Core in Windows 10 [source] which may be why Motion Data is missing.

When it is widely available, you should find it in Settings > Extras > Touch.

Wow! I'll got to check back WDRT every 12 hourly for this new firmware ...
Btw, I've recently factory reset my 950XL, also found that Lumia Motion Data is missing, but WiFi-Sense is back in the WiFi settings.

Thanks very much!!! Gotta keep an eye open for this. Just to make sure, you got this via the WDRT? Or was this OTA? Probably the first, correct?

I think it will appear for devices based on SKU no matter on which ring you are. There were problems with 950s not getting their first FW upgrades back in January if enrolled to windows insider program, but they were resolved since then
