I have the 950XL. But man Acer has a good marketing team.

That video is pretty nice. MS did it once with the surfacebook. But the rest of their marketing hasn't been up to par. Even the HP elite x3 video blows you away.

I'm most likely buying one as well. Already have a 640, but I prefer the smaller size of the M330. Big phones are just not for me.

Considering that it is so low in price and has band 12, I'm considering trying it. The size is nice too though. I want to see how much it can be with the education discount.

Folks,

I see the Acer M330 is now available on the Microsoft Store. I just read the specifications for the cellular bands and all I can say is: what a disappointment. For a dual sim phone, it has THE fewest bands I've seen. For HSPA+ (4G) it only has 850 and 1900, NO 2100. That means it won't work in Europe for data. And it has limited LTE bands for the US. I would probably buy a Lumia 532 or 435 dual sim phone over the Acer M330 even though they are only 3G.

Not exactly. It does have the 2100 band. Check out the FCC documents for this phone. Here's the manual: https://apps.fcc.gov/eas/GetApplicationAttachment.html?id=2785089
Connectivity is on page 4.

Apparently, there might be two models of this phone. The manual linked above is for the one sold in the MS store, this is the general manual.

Libra89,

Thanks for the links and information. I checked the manual from the FCC website and it looks like the US version does not have the 2100 band:

US : WCDMA 850(B5) / 1900(B2) / AWS (B4) MHz
US :LTE: 1900MHz(B2), 1700MHz(B4), 2600MHz(B7), 700MHz(B12)

The European version (EU?) version does, but lacks some of the LTE bands for the US:

EU:WCDMA 850(B5) /900(B8) / 1900(B2) / 2100(B1)MHz
EU : LTE: 2100MHz(B1), 1800MHz(B3), 2600MHz(B7), 800MHz(B20)

So this wouldn't work on T-Mobile? Not sure what bands I need to look for

Sedp23,

The version that is being sold on the Microsoft Store should work on T-mobile. I was commenting that the US version wouldn't work in Europe (no band 2100).
