Unable to open photos on OneDrive

My phone has a problem. I copy photos to OneDrive from my Computer. I am able to see them in Windows 8.1 OneDrive but unable to even see thumbnail of them in Windows Phone Lumia 1020. There's only a black thumb of each photo. and keep loading but never opens. I have 20 Mb internet connection.

Can you post the OS and firmware version. If you are using the photos hub to browse one drive photos , try to use onedrive app or vice versa. Here is the app :- OneDrive | Windows Phone Apps+Games Store (United States)

How big are the fotos? In which format are they (incompatible format?)

Try taking a photo with you camera and see if you are able to view the photo in people hub. If you have automatic backup enabled , the image will automatically upload to onedrive depending on your settings. And then see if you are able to view the same photo in camera roll folder.

I tried uploading picture from phone to OneDrive. It uploads and i can see it on ondrive.com and i also took picture and saved directly to OneDrive. Either way, i can't see photos from phone.

Same problem here - I can upload pictures to Onedrive from my computer and from my phone, but I can't download them to the phone or view them from the phone any more. The pictures show up fine in Onedrive on the web and on my computer.

On the phone, I can see thumbnails that were previously cached in both the the Onedrive album under Photos and in the Onedrive app, but I can't see thumbnails for newer uploads and I can't view / open / save any images from either the Onedrive album in Photos, or from the Onedrive app.

Going by the date that thumbnails for new uploads stopped being created and display only as grey squares with a photo icon in them, this started during the first week of June.

If I take a picture on the phone, with auto upload to Onedrive turned on, the picture is uploaded without a problem. I can view it on the web and on my computer. The Onedrive /camera roll folder in the Photos hub is totally gubbed though. After giving it a good few minutes, the same three or four recent thumbnails (the last pictures that successfully had thumbnails created) are displayed over and over again in place of all my most recent photos. None of these photos can be opened or viewed.

I think its time to switch to Android. Windows Phone OS is always in beta version.

My phone was on developer version, i used NSU to restore WP8. Then installed OneDrive app and same issue. So i guess problem is with OneDrive App
