Yesterday someone posted a work around where photos moved under the WhatsApp folder are not visible to the media players but it's visible to the Files app, you can try that for videos
I would just download MoliPlayer and put the video directly into the app's storage. Then, download a history clearer, like WP Tools, to run after you play the video every time.
