What are the things that are covered under warranty ?

Nokia Care Center charged me Rs. 250 for replacing lock button (not on back cover but inside of body) .. they said damages does not comes under Warranty
Is it okay ??

The warranty covers the issues caused by the manufacturer.
It doesn't cover any damage, caused by whatever other reason (user damage, electricity or calamity).

Lock button I have seen fudged a little bit. I work with warranties all the time, and it really depends on the manufacturer if they want to cover power buttons or not. In most cases I have seen, the power button not working is a manufacturer defect.

Maybe worth an email to get them to look into it. Did you drop the phone? Was there clear physical damage to the power button? I had a titan and the power button broke after 10 months htc replaced it.
