This question might have been asked or solved but I am having problems with my Lumia 1520

It's been 2-3 weeks since I purchased Lumia 1520 and installed windows 8.1. When I dint play any games or anything that its when its on standby then battery is fine else when i play games or use any of the apps battery drains pretty fast.

I have blocked all the apps and also when i play games like FIFA 14 and star wars - tiny death stars they all lag alot but when I restart they run fine for first few hours then they are back to lagging. Please suggest what to do?

One more problem I see I don't know whether its of Lumia 1520 or windows 8.1 but I see location icon when location is turned off. And also I have done a hard reset and soft reset.

Congratulations for your lumia 1520 :smile: There is nothing wrong with your phone , your phone lacks a firmware update from Nokia which should solve such battery issues (and many other issues users are reporting ). It will be available very soon. As far battery life is concerned , if you play lot of games it's acceptable to have such battery life. But with the cyan update you will see lot of improvements in battery life

Windows phone 8.1 is still in preview form. There are bugs that are expected. I was having the same results on my lumia 920. Later I decided to downgrade my device to windows phone 8.0 (due to GPS bug). All games are as smooth without any frame drops
