920 call problems

So my L920 has been experiencing really abysmal call quality, to the point of the only way for me to call people is to do it over speaker phone which is very annoying. When I am not using speaker phone I answer the call and for the first 15-30 seconds the other side of the line cannot understand a word I say. I can hear them fine but to them I sound like a muffled mess like the call is about to drop. After that it seems to adjust and then it works but I have pretty much given up on hoping people will wait 30 seconds to talk. Do you guys have any suggestions on what I could do?

I have the same problem with my L920. I can only be heard over the speaker. It has something to do with a failure of the microphone at the top of the phone next to the headset jack, which is used for noise cancellation. I wish there was an option to disable it. There are quite a few people with this problem.

Hi , I've the same problem for about two weeks now but today I cleaned up the microphone,at the top of the phone and the speakers with a needle and then with a brush(be carefully you don't wanna brick them) and now it seems ppl can hear me crystal clear and also my phone sounds louder then before , like day 1

I'm having the same problem. I just cleaned up the microphone with a needle as ttru50 did, but I'm still experiencing the same issues....
