Cheap WP8 phone??

I've seen Nokia 920s on eBay for $100~ with a good screen and heavy scratches on body (not concerned with body damage). I just want a cheap Windows Phone to play with and maybe use as a spare phone besides my BlackBerry Z30.

Would you recommend the 920 or what for a beginner phone? I looked at the 520 but I'd get frustrated with small screen size as my Z30 is 5 inch.

Must be AT&T compatible as I'm on a foreign carrier using same bands as AT&T

The 920 would be a great device for that price, since it is getting the 8.1 update. It will also run games that will not run on the 520, since it has more memory than the 520.

I've seen some cheap $200 Nokia Lumia 1020s but with a blocked IMEI. I'm assuming I could still use it internationally as IMEI blocks only cover the United States and I'm not in North America. Do you think it's worth the risk?

I wouldn't take the chance, since it could end up being a paperweight.
