Nokia lumia 900 not charging

I've had my phone for about a year and a half and it just stopped charging like it doesnt even make a noise when i plug it in and before it was really finicky with charging before it would have to be in a certain position for it to charge and now it will not charge it even in that position

Maybe the old guy just gave up . If the warranty is over I'd open it up and replace the charging connector, or even easier, buy a new phone, if that's possible, of course

i wish i could but my contract doesnt come due til like December... unfortunately but warranty is over though

Please tell me you have a WP8 device, because of you don't, you are really missing out on alot of fun.

unfortunately its a WP7.8 but i want to upgrade so bad cause of this charging problem

Sounds like the USB port died from wear or a small defect.
Best to get that part replaced, or a whole new device if you want.
