Nokia Lumia 900 charger not detected

My nokia lumia 900 sometimes does not detect my charger and easily disconnects if it's not in the proper position. It's not the charger at fault because I've tried with other phones. Any way to fix this?

It's either the cable itself or the connector inside the phone is getting a bit worn out.
