I'm a medical professional and our University has medical site with treatment and guidelines i can access the site online, but since internet doesnot work most of the time at my current place i copied/mirrored the whole site from the server and now i can access the whole content offline on my laptop. So, i transferred the whole folder about 3gb in size (includes contents, css, images... folders) into my phone and opened the "menu.html" file from files app it automatically opens with internet explorer, it opens the first page but after i type something in the search box it cant access the other links/pages ... I tried to open single Html file (a saved webpage) and it works albeit without the images and other things from the accompanying folder.

Is there any app which can open mirrored html file, or is there anything i can do to fix the problem, or should i build my own app with the whole files inside?

The reason why you cannot perform a search because, the search is meant to haapen online for the websites. With an internet connection.
And you specified some images are not loading, it may be because the images in the websites are rendered from a different url. So without internet connection this also doesnt happen.
And regarding the app, Sorry I dont know any.

I do the same and never had any problem. Still in having html files on my SD and I'm able to search and access to them. When i open it without web. It open the page but text only. The reason is that when u copy it from web to laptop n laptop to phone the path of the image /audio/ video get changes or either disconnected.
So just chill. I'll suggest u to use lappy instead of phone if u want access to whole saved html page without web
