L925 making weird sounds

Hello,

A while ago I updated Windows Phone 8.1 OS to my Lumia 925. Recently it has started making weird popping and clicking noises on its own (like echoing synthetic bell sounds, with three different notes). Sometimes noise appears by surprise, but mostly it happens when I unlock screen saver.

It kind of sounds like a notification, but to my knowledge I'm not running any applications and I haven't discovered the cause for this. I have tried to restart the phone normally and also did a soft reboot but it didn't help. Sounds doesn't affect normal use of the phone but it's disturbing and I would really like it to stop.

Has anyone else had similar issues and can somebody help me to get rid of those sounds?

Try going to Settings -> Ringtones and Sounds

Under Play a sound for - uncheck everything and see if it still makes sounds after that.

You can also go to Mange app sounds and see what's there as well. You can adjust what way you get notified by apps.
