WiFi is the only way to update but there is a trick to get around it.

Use another mobile (other than WP) to act as a hotspot and do it that way. This is the only solution I know. If you don't have access to another phone find a WiFi somewhere.... I know that's not always easy.

Why other than Wp? You can still use the Internet sharing option from a wp to act as a WiFi hotspot!
