Why I can't browse net in my L520 while in a call?

I can't browse net in my L520 while in a call, is this problem with all Lumia series. Is it due to the limitations in windows phone 8 os, anyone with 8.1 can able to browse internet while in a call.

It works for me on 8.1 and worked for me when on 8

What carrier do you have? Are you using WiFi or mobile network data? If you are using mobile network data, how fast is your network: HSPA+, 3G, EDGE, GPRS?

I am using my mobile network data and I can't do either in edge/3g

Yes it kinda works in 3G mode (HSPA)

because if someone call you your network will automatically use 2g network.
