Hi, I have bought a Lumia 1520 couple months ago in Malaysia. May I know when can I get the Windows Phone 8.1 updates for my phone?

Of course. Go to app store and type in development preview. You will see a purple app of a key going in a door. Download that. Then open the app. It will take you to a site by a link to register as a developer. Click the free one (there are 4 to choose from) then follow the instructions. You have to change your region, keyboard and speech settings to get Cortana downloaded too. Good luck and let me know when its done

No, last time I was chatting with the Nokia support they confirmed that it will not void your warranty.

But I would wait for the public release. You can expect the update in the next two weeks.
