Bing maps for Singapore users how do you cope?

I just swapped over from my Android to the new Lumia 930. And despite my hardest efforts in trying to find subpar 3rd party equivalent apps for the likes of YouTube, Instagram, etc, I'm stuck with Bing Maps.

I can't even search singapore's postal code in bing maps.

Searching "408571" yields no results and searching "Singapore 408571" brings me to some location in Malaysia

This is extremely frustrating since I rely on google maps (previously) to get around a lot.

My question is how do you search a singapore postal code in Bing Maps?

Hey try here maps. They are preinstalled in your lumia 930. Just swipe to app list and tap on here maps / here drive +. You can also download maps data offline.

While I always use HERE Maps (or derivatives) in Singapore, there is no ZIP Code search based on my experience. I've never been lost despite that.

Yeah, but postal code is one of the most basic and fastest way to identify a location in singapore.

Sure I could punch in the full address with street name, but that takes way longer than just 6 digits.. I'm appalled that Bing Maps doesn't support postal code unlike google (or even joke apple maps)

You can use the app, Waze. The app does a job quite well searching via postal code.
