Why won't my Bluetooth hook up to my devices?

8.1 update Bluetooth Problem

I have a Lumia 625 updated to 8.1 yesterday, and now whenever I have Bluetooth connected all speakers do not work. I can dial a number and screen shows call connected but I can't hear anything, screen shows "speaker" is on and can not be turned off.

Won't work with car bluetooth either but shows as connected

I have pretty much the same issue. In addition, the Nokia Mini Tag is not recognised, nor my OBDII device which works fine with my Surface RT.
