Where is my Storage sense?

Cant find Storage sense

I just got my first windows phone and im having trouble with using a micro sd card. I have looked for Storage Sense app and couldn't find it. My phone doesnt seem to register my sd card or something, there are no notifications that an sd card is connected to my phone. shouldn't my phone notify me that an sd card is connected, how can I transfer and save apps to my sd card. Help

Which phone do you have?
Is the phone you have running Cyan or the Black firmware?

Storage sense is only available on Windows Phone 8.1 - which model did you get? The 63x and 930 came with it as standard.

When you insert the card make sure it's lined up correctly in the slot thing before closing it, I've made that mistake before.
