WPCentral Question

My 6snap was working pefectly fine and then all of a sudden when I try and refresh it it pops up with 'The network you are connected to has been temporarily blocked due to suspicious activity', I haven't sent anything bad nor have I breached the terms and conditions. This only happens when I'm connected to my wi-fi though, if i use my mobile data then it works, it is just slow... PLEASE HELP!

Omg the same thing happened to me! And when I went onto my iPad to use the actual snapchat app, the app said the same exact thing!
but when I use other apps it is perfectly fine and they don't display that message. Right now I am just using my data and hoping it will be fixed soon

The same thing has happened to my whole family! We have tried everything to fix it. My friend was over yesterday and it also happened to her Iphone. When she went home it was working fine. Is this just a snapchat hack? There is a problem here. This has been over 24 hours.

Have you checked your email from a computer to straighten out things. Usually a email follows that and you h have to verify. If not than you will have problems.

It still isn't working and i have have done everything suggested on here. It works on other people's WiFis. What WiFi network are we all on. I have Verginmedia. Is this just a network problem.

Maybe snapchat servers saw something unusual or something and blocked your wifi number (idk what it's called) for a certain amount of time. I have the same problem right now but it says temporarily, so just be patient i think...

I have the same problem, it's happened once before and I just left it overnight and it was working fine again the next morning. However this time it seems to be lasting much longer. It's not just a problem with one network as I have a completely different network to those mentioned. It also can't be due to anything that we have sent, it must just be some sort of bug. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon

Sometimes services will block on ranges of IPs because otherwise whoever is causing trouble can simply disconnect and reconnect to their ISP and get a new IP address through DHCP. Unfortunately this means other people on the same ISP will be blocked too through no fault of their own. This used to happen to me with Slashdot sometimes back in the bad old days, it's too bad a better method hasn't been found to deal with it if this is indeed what's happening.

This just happened to me today.
I don't understand why though.
I haven't sent or received anything
that is against the terms and conditions.
How long will this last for?
