Upgrade from 920 to 930. Apps transfer

Hi. Have just picked up my new 930 and signed into my MS account. I was under the impression that all my apps would appear on the new phone, but they have not. What steps do I need to take?

Did you have 8.1 on your 920? If not, them go into the Store of your 930, and redownload the apps you want (Store > My Apps). If you did, then you should have been able to see the backup you had from your 920 after you set up the account on your 930.

First you should have made a backup of your 920, you could have used that to set up your new 930.

Head to the store. Click on the three dots at the bottom right and click 'my apps'. You will be provided with the list of apps you installed in your previous phone(only if you sign in with the account you used with the older phone). You will have the option of installing all the apps in a single click.

I still have both phones. Will try to factory re set the 930 and try again.

That happened to me. Only way I done it was to log onto "Microsoft/my app" website then click on install then it will install it to your phone and you don't have to plug your phone to your laptop or pc

I think the issue was the phone didn't go through the set up. I must have been on store demo mode. Did a factory reset and now using the 920's back up to restore. Thanks for the replies peeps!
