Deleting backed up pictures from my windows phone 8 without deleting them from Onedrive

Hi, I'm running out of phone storage space and desperately need to delete pictures and videos off my Lumia 925. I just want to know if deleting the pictures that have already been backed onto Onedrive from my phone will delete them from Onedrive? I'd hate to lose my daughter's pictures and videos accidentally. Thanks

I don't think it will but I can't guarantee it as it's not a feature I really use. What I would do, is take a picture of something random, let it get backed up and then delete the original.

Alternatively, you could download them all to a computer, and/or move them into another folder on Onedrive via the website or File Explorer if running Windows 8.1.

No, they won't get deleted on OneDrive. What WP offers is auto-upload​, not sync.
