WPCentral Question

I receive frequent texts from a single source, but with each message, the phone number listed is different, sequentially so.

For example, the "numbers" I receive these text messages from list as follows...

1 (210) 100-931
1 (210) 100-930
1 (210) 100-929
1 (210) 100-928
1 (210) 100-927
...
1 (210) 100-004
1 (210) 100-003
1 (210) 100-002
1 (210) 100-001

My question is simple, yet may require a complex answer. How do I set up a contact for a range of numbers like that?

Are you saying that every time you receive a text from this source, the phone number continually increments, never reusing any phone number?

Sorry, I think the most phone numbers you can associate with a single contact is 10...

What is happening is that you are receiving email from a computer through your texts. The sender IS NOT using an incrementing set of phone numbers. Your phone is incrementing the number. If you delete all the texts, the next one will start back at the beginning. I am trying to develop an internal web application that can text notify our technicians when something needs done. This incrementing number set is exactly what happens. I am currently looking for a solution, but the cellphone carriers look like they have settled on a standard of incrementing numbers set by the mobile device itself.
