Never ending hard reset problem with nokia lumia 520

I hard reset my phone 3 days ago, the gears are still grinding 72 hours later, I have to keep it plugged in at all times because it won't charge while it is reseting and as soon as i unplug it it shuts off with a dead battery. The last time I tried to hard reset it took me about a week. Does anyone else have this problem with the phone?

What I would do, is install the nokia recovery tool, and run it in "my phone can't/won't start" mode (there's a button for it). Hit that, then plug your phone in when it tells you and hopefully, it will sort it out.
