Glance Screen constantly crashes

Hello there! This is my first post and I have to say I am glad being part of the WP world!
I recently purchased a red Nokia Lumia 720, I'm very happy with the phone.
Being able to synch contacts and calendars to my Mac was a top priority, so I installed WP 8.1 dev preview.
It all went well until I begun to notice problems with my glance screen.
At first, it disappeared and after a reboot It would come back again.
Now it's gone for good and after trying a lot of very sensible things I read online I decided to ask for some HELP!!!
This are the symptoms:
1- When I boot my phone up, I lock it and for a fraction of a second I can see the glance screen, then it disappears and it won't show up again unless I reboot.
2- The glance screen settings open up, but they are all greyed out!
This is what I have tried so far:
1- Soft reset
2- Setting date & time to year 2110, forcing to uninstall glance screen and then re-installing with Sysappusher
3- Hard reset: backed up the phone and performed hard reset reinstalling back from backup and re-installing all apps as per requested by the Store.
Ok as you can see I've done my best to try everything at reach. Such a shame since glance screen is one the features that I love most from my Lumia.

Why not downgrade your phone to windows phone 8.0 via nokia recovery tool and check if glance screen is working fine on windows phone 8.0 if so try updating to windows phone 8.1 again.
