I have added 7GB of pictures to a SD card.
I reset the WP so there is 1.3 GB free storage.
I put the SD card into the phone.
I run Photos app.
Media library is making an update task and the result is after 30 minutes, the principal phone storage is full.
The update task (with the Photos app) produces a cache of thumbnails or something like that but there is no more space on the phone.

How to manage that ? Why those thumbnails are not stored on the SD ?
Any help ?

did you select store photos to sd? Also if you have windows phone 8.0, you might be facing the other storage problem. They only fixed it on 8.1

I have put the 2 settings for SD storage but I have reset the phone and there is no data on it.
All the data are located on the SD card.
The updating task of the Photos seems to store the cached/thumbnails stuff on the primary phone storage.
Providing a Photos App that is not able to handle an external card. It's a shame !
Windows Phone is really a poor phone.
