8.1, DP update 1 + Lumia 1020 = broken camera!?

Can't be a coincidence,but at some point during or since the update my camera lens opened up and won't close and neither camera app will open. Tried soft. Reset. Anyone else had the same? This phone isn't quite the same without a camera!

Sorry to hear that. I was afraid that this would happen too, but thank God it didn't. Try a hard reset. If that doesn't work, you can downgrade to WP8.0 and try upgrading to WP8.1 again.

And yes, the 1020 won't be the same if the camera isn't working. The camera is its best feature.
