post windows update battery life

I have updated my nokia lumia 625 to the latest version of windows. I have now a battery life of only a few hours when I used to charge my phone only every 3 days. I still use my phone the same way and I was wondering what could cause that change... Any help welcome

Updates sometimes trigger battery life issues. Sometimes they can be fixed by something as simple as a reboot or a soft reset (power off + volume down until the phone restarts). Sometimes it takes something more drastic, like a hard reset. If you haven't tried the simple fixes, do those first.

Mine seems okay on my Samsung Ativ S Neo so far. There is a learning curve for the phone after the update.

Thanks for your help, soft reboot did not change anything. Hard reset now on-going, fingers crossed it'll get back to normal battery life.

I can attest to a hard reset solving battery issues for me in the past..... If that does not help, try a fresh restart, meaning do not restore from a previous backup....It is a headache but can also solve battery and other glitches..
