Is this the last firmware upgrade we wud have since there wud be no more NOKIA?

Current devices in the Lumia line, whether made by Nokia D&S or Microsoft Mobile, will continue to be supported by routine firmware upgrades. Of course, this depends on the phone's support cycle (36 months.)

It's already been stated that future firmware updates can be applied to 8.1 GDR. So yes, there will be more Lumia firmwares, they will probably be handled by MS, or what's left of the Nokia handsets+devices division they acquired.
