My battery life is great now. I had to charge multiple times a day with 8.1 preview but now I can easily last all day. I was worried all the changes in 8.1 inherently used a lot more battery to do the new stuff. I'm glad to see battery life more in line with how it was when I first used WP8.

Ya it is quite the opposite that I thought..battery life is really a plus in the update.i haven't charged my mobile for almost a day with usage being at a good amount...!happy with battery..
