Strange charging display while phone off?

A friend switched off my Lumia 720 while it was charging last night and it displayed a strange lightning icon plus a static bolt (as in the setting icon/tile). I had to do a soft reset before the phone came back on, although the phone seems to be fine.
Should I be worried?:unhappysweat:
