Lumia 530 better than its competitors

I think Lumia 530 is a ton better than its competitor on support n software update from Microsoft. While in this price range in android phone nobody gets any update for latest support. Also wp8.1 works perfectly on the phone without lags whereas as android phones are terrific in this range, they can deceive u at any moments. Believe windows n live with the latest.

No but tried at a retail shop. N found it great for its price range. I have 520. N deciding to get dual sim 530 aa per my needs and money constraint.

Moto E @7k is still a very good phone. It runs stock Android, which means lag is non-existent. Its battery life is much better than the 520 (and 530 as well). Moto E is also slated to receive Android L which will be out later this year, so that's a major OS overhaul.

The one thing that is horrendous about Moto E is its camera. The camera has no auto-focus and hence is a complete waste.

There is no clear winner between L530 and Moto E, although I'd be leaning towards the latter if given the choice.

That's the point.. Moto e is selling n wil get only one update not more than that remember my statement. And Lumia 530 will get update for next 2 years at least due to Microsoft software support center. Camera on 530 is surely better than moto e.

Actually the Moto E, G and X are all guaranteed to receive two major updates. They already have received the first of the two: KitKat 4.4.3. They have also received KitKat 4.4.4, but that was not a major update. The second one is gonna be Android L, which is a complete restructuring of the OS.

I am not arguing the merits of an OS support cycle. I'm talking about the phone itself and how its specs are still killing any competition.

Ya Moto e killed all low end phone oems it's a blockbuster hit for Motorola. Hope lumia 730 be a hit in India.
