Why is the latest windows phone at T-Mobile so old?

Apparently, their current high end windows phone is over a year old. The newest Windows phone is a low end phone that doesn't have a front camera, so no selfies. Microsoft isn't making it easy to stick to Windows.

AT&T doesn't have any newer selection if one doesn't want a phablet. The high-end, non-phablet AT&T device is the 1020, which was released only a month after the 925.
