Can't back up apps and settings on my 1520

Every time I try to backup my apps and settings on my 1520 it says there is a problem try again later. Anybody know why this is happening?

Do you have text message backup on? That has been a cause of the bug for some people.

I have Lumia 1020 and I've been having this problem ever since the Windows 8.1 Update. My o/s version is 8.10.14147.180. Also today I noticed my clock was wrong, set it to auto update and this turns 24hr off, can't have auto time and 24-hr clock. I've had to manually sync my Microsoft account several times and clock , wondering I this is related. I've turned photo and SMS upload off and still get the backup error. just says try again no error code. Have even removed lock image, temp files, restarted, soft reset, sync and backup - no luc????

Help- I want the cyan update but need to be able to backup my phone first.

Is Nokia Recovery Software Tool only used to restore, or can we backup too?

I had the same problem on my Lumia 930, no backup was taken.

I uninstalled Live Lock Screen BETA from my phone, rebooted then changed my lock screen to another background (Bing) and then changed back to photo, rebooted again

Then it was possible to do a backup again, so try removing the Live Lock Screen Beta if you have it and see if it works.
