Skype call mutes every other sound

So whenever I am in a call on my Nokia Lumia 520(Lumia Cyan) and I try to view a video or listen to something the sound for that is muted.
Is it a setting to mute everything else when you are in a call?And can it be changed?

I think that is by default. I don't believe there is a way to change it either.

Yep, default, can't be changed, and Skype isn't the only one. That's just how the system works!
