Wifi switch problem

Whenever i turn off the wifi through settings, it takes about 10 seconds to turn off... Just curious if anyone else has it???? Is it common???

Lumia 525 with WP 8.0 Black here....

Jesus... You kind of people... NOT A BUG! Everybody has it. It takes time... Normal...

Well it depends what apps are running in the background since they usually require to stay connected, which is why it takes forever to shut off Wi-Fi, if you restart your phone with Wi-Fi on and test out the Wi-Fi it should shut down in less than 5 seconds.

i was just curious about it coz i have seen other phones switching off their wifi quickly....
