Uploading to OneDrive interrupted

Not sure if this is a OneDrive issue or a phone issue - I'm on a L635 with WP 8.1.
Whenever I'm uploading files to OneDrive and it takes so long that my screen goes black (screensaver), it seems the uploading stops, eventhough OneDrive is allowed to run in the background and my WiFi stays on. Then I have to select all the files again and start over.
I don't want to go change settings to disable my screensaver every time I'm uploading to OneDrive if that's the problem.

Is it just a setting, or a bug?

As far as I know, that should not happen, so I guess it's a glitch. Do downloads also stop if your screen turns off in screensaver?

Didn't happen to me when downloading from OneDrive, but I usually only get a couple photos. It's mostly the uploading that takes a while.
I'll need to check that first.
