email stopped working

Had an email tile. Doesn't work anymore-- doesn't take me directly to inbox. Doesn't do anything. What happened?

Ummm...
Which firmware version is on your phone?
Did this just happen without any changes to the phone?
Can you re-pin the tile from the app list to the start screen to check for function?

Updated my Lumia 1020 to Cyan. Email worked ok for a day (sending/ receiving on my all accts). Now the email opens but does nothing (not updating, buttons does not work), also in settings when you go to email+accounts it just goes "loading..." and returns same setting/system root page...Otherwise phone seems to work normally. Any hints?

Silly enough a restart solved the problem

As a separate point I really like the new option to set your own SMS sound
