How to Stop Apps Resetting?...

Every time I press the Windows button and leave and App (for example Facebook) if I was on a page or writing a post, I find myself back at the start screen (for Facebook the 'newsfeed') and whatever I was doing before is lost. I'm sure there is a way to stop these apps closing/resetting. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

It's crap but it's true: When you open the app from the Start Menu it gets started as it is the first time.
