Can't connect to Heart Rate monitor (bluetooth smart)

Hello,

I have a nokia Lumia 820 (Black update) with Windows 8.1 Developer Preview installed on it. Two days ago my Runtastic app got an update where it stated that it would now support their own Bluetooth smart heart rate monitor. Since I was waiting for a long time for this bluetooth support I directly ordered their HRM and it came in the mail today.

Unfortunately I can't seems to connect to the HRM. I have bluetooth enabled, but in the bluetooth settings page I don't see the HRM appearing. Also in the app itself it says it can't find the HRM.

Am I doing something wrong? Any ideas on how to get this working?

Hey,

In the meanwhile my phone got updated to the official Cyan update with WP8.1, and now my HRM can connect to the phone. It seems it wasn't possible with the DP version of WP8.1.

Good to know, especially for those of us that can't update to cyan without resetting their phone..
