WPCentral Question

So I just got this new Nokia Lumia 928 from my insurance through Verizon. It was running Windows Phone 8 GDR3 when I got it and I never tested to see if the double tap to wake or if the screen never coming on when I get a message or notification. But anyway I am now running Windows Phone 8.1 GDR1 through the developer preview. But the problem is that the screen won't come on when I double tap, the screen won't come on when there's a message or notification. Vibration hardly ever works. Is this a hardware problem or a OS bug that will need to be fixed with an update? PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!!!

I can't say about vibration, but can you confirm Glance doesn't work as well?
I think the proximity sensor on the top-front of the device is either obstructed or defective.

Yup, that means something is wrong with your proximity sensor. I doubt its going to be an easy DIY fix, so you would want to take it in for service/replacement.
