Do we have to downgrade to get Cyan update or do we still get it? There are post all over saying you have to downgrade to original os (Black) and then run OTA Update to Windows Phone 8.1 Cyan

If you have developer preview then yes. As for getting Cortana I put a link up there explaining an easy to follow step by step guide which will come in handy

yes we are getting it. as soon as they fix the problem...
but it's funny how developer preview is supposed to exist so that we can get updates earlier

You do get Microsoft Windows Phone updates earlier i.e. GDR Update 1, firmware is a different matter, as its separate...
