App launcher is not exiting

I launched an app from the "app launcher " from settings .
Now i couldnt able to exit from the app. I have a problem with the power button. I tried restaring many times, but couldnt exit . Please help to return to normal view.

Are you referring to the app corner? To exit it you need to hold down the power button just like you do when you want to shut down your phone. But instead of swiping that "curtain" down, swipe it to the right.

I think there's no way other than a hard reset then. I had suggested a soft reset (even though I think I've read somewhere that even this won't help), but since your power button isn't working, this isn't an option anyways.

I was more surprised about the number of people having devices with broken power buttons. You should really have it fixed.
