Do not want to sync contacts from facebook...

Was hoping someone can help, I have just bought the Lumia 930, and its epic, love it. However one niggly issue, that must be resolvable surely.

I want to sync facebook, so its feeds turn up in the people hub etc, but I do not want it syncing my contacts, as its a mess, and it screws up the saved phonebook on my car, cluttering it with lots of facebook contacts, rather than just the people saved in my outlook/phonebook. Is there anyway to stop facebook syncing contacts, but keep it syncing all other information?

Yeah I have done that, however if you go to contact list under phone, it shows all contacts they are still there, the unticking facebook option only filters them out of your people app list

once you integrate your fb to your ms account it will pull all your fb contacts. you should cut the connection. If you go to your ms account you can see your accounts connected to your ms account. you can delete facebook from there. I guess you should log in via browser.
