Surface Rt displays this wpcentral in mobile view

So I have a Surface RT 1st edition and am currently considering a surface Pro 3
My issue is that when I visit wpcentral the surface RT displays the website in mobile mode.
I have played with the compatibility settings and have read about some debugging scripts that I could employ...
I really enjoy the desktop version of the site and would like to ensure IE displays that version exclusively.

Are other Surface RT users experiencing this issue?
Does this issue also affect Surface pro 3?
What are other remedies for this issue?

I also use the metro app which works well with windows 8.1.

Scroll to the bottom and click Full Site. Sometimes tablets are seen as mobile devices and site or browser are thinking they are doing you a favor. Just press that little button down there.

It works for the forums .. but I don't see the button on the main site.
