How big is the Lumia Cyan update on a Lumia 520? 1 GB? And how much space is required? And if the connection to net is ended before the download is complete, will it continue later from where it left off? What if I switched off the phone in between? Please reply...

1,57 gb if the connection is ended before the download is complete you must start over again. If the download is complete, you can switch off your phone. All updates are stored in the memory for (later) use

You require minimum of 2gb of storage space as the total size of the cyan firmware is aprox 700mb, after that more storage space is required to install it on your phone so make sure u have 2gb+ storage available on your phone. If the connection is lost between the download it will continue from where it got stopped when you connect it again. I don't know what will happen if you switch off your phone in between.
