MMS no longer working after 8.1 update

My Lumia 1020 AT&T phone was working very well on the StraightTalk service until I recently installed the latest 8.1 software update on my phone. Now, the internet works, calling works, but the MMS texting no longer works and I cannot send or receive simple plain text messages that are sent to more than one person. Please help advise as this is very frustrating and having me regret the Nokia phone purchase after all....
