Loss of 4G signal after update to 8.1 on my Nokia 920

I have had a very strong 4G signal on my Nokia 920 until I updated to version 8.1 recently. Since then I can only get 3G or H+ anyone have any suggestion to get back to 4G as 3G is so slow in comparison

What carrier is your device branded to? Are you using the device on the carrier which it is branded to, or is it an unlocked device that you are using on a different carrier? If you are using an unlocked device on a carrier other than the one your device is branded to, then you might need to manually edit your APN.

my Nokia 920 is branded to Telecom New Zealand and I am using a Telecom NZ 4G sim card

I have now solved the problem. I removed the sim card and then put it back in, turned the phone off for a few minutes. When I turned it back on after about 30 seconds it went to 3G first and after a short time it finally went to 4G and at this time appears to be stable on 4G
