micro SD card protection

Hello, is there any way of protecting the micro SD card in case of robbery or loosing the phone? For example, in the old nokias I used you could password protect the MMC cards. Is there anyway to do it here in Windows Phone 8? Or like BlackBerry that encrypts to the card?
