question about windows camera app usability?

Hi I was thinking about buying a nokia lumia 920 phone off of ebay. But I heard someone else say that the camera app isn't that great. That if you start recording and accidently tap the screen, the recording stops. Anyone know if there is a way to stop that from happening? Like locking the phone or using a different camera app? Thanks.

the fact of the camera is false!
though, i know that if you laucn the camer when recording, and exit, it saves, but still, is a nice phone, although new phones are coming, dont get exhausted
