Unable to configure cortana on Lumia cyan

Hi, I'm trying to configure cortana in my Lumia 720. I have changed speech Lang to eng(uk) but no luck. I m unable to switch on narrator also as it asks for speech Lang to be eng(uk).
I m frm India using Lumia cyan update.

Cortana Alpha is only available for WP8.1 Update 1.

For Lumia Cyan, you'd have to change your region, speech and languages to US.

It's easy to reinstall Dev Preview Update 1 after installing Cyan. I did that last night, since I wanted the Live Folders, which aren't in Cyan.

Yes I tried it with eng uk but it didn't work

You need to upgrade to the Dev Preview Update/GDR 1
Set region to India
Speech to English (UK)
Keyboard, Language & Regional format to English(India). Also ensure that they are at the top of the list, in case of multiple languages.
